- Steak prepared at home. Grilled and seasoned with salt and pepper. *Restaurant steaks are tenderized and can contain a whole days worth of sodium (salt). They often butter baste the steak right before hitting your plate. 
- Use extra lean ground beef in your chili or pasta sauces. Low fat and packed full of protein and iron.
