“I am 52 and perimenopausal.  I put on weight over the winter, the covid "19" as a friend calls it or in my case the covid "30".  I joined a gym and lost 10 lbs quickly but then I stalled, I could not lose another pound not matter what I tried plus a lot of the initial weight I lost was muscle, not body fat.  In addition, I had a health problem that has been a constant worry for 31/2 years--my doctor told me to simply take over the counter meds for the rest of my life.  I was really depressed.  Then I googled and found Dani Health.  I am in week 3 of a 4 week diet plan--it is not a fad diet but a new way of thinking about when, what and how I eat.  I have lost 7 lbs (5 right away and then 2 a week which is goal) and in conjunction with working out at the gym and bike riding I am building muscle.   What I like:  I feel healthy, energetic, and in control for the first time in months, or years really.   The recipes are simple and delicious.  Dani listens and  has tailored everything to my needs.  The weekly check-ins keep me accountable. “The Blueprint Program through DaniHealth is the only "Diet" plan that has worked for me and I've tried them all.  The plan starts with a meeting to get where you are at in your trials, and to get what you like and dislike.  You then get a meal plan for the first week, which takes into account your likes and dislikes.  That alone was worth the $550 I paid for the program.  The time it takes to create these is crazy, especially since I was new.  The second week is a repeat of the first and I believe this to be part of the  "it takes time to change habits" theory.  It allowed me to get the first week and patterns down pat.  The third week is a change up of food and by now the routine is pretty much good to go.  The fourth week you create your own meal plan and this allowed me to practice what I have learned because, as they say, dieting is not dieting it is a lifestyle.  The program also includes motivational emails and contact with either of the dietitians if you have any questions.  I have lost 55lbs and have reached my goal weight.  I use what I have learned to maintain this.  And they are available for any questions still.  Its been 2 years that I've been working DaniHealth and I would and have recommended them to friends, family and strangers.”
